Road Trip from Las Vegas
No other city puts you this close to this much. Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Death Valley and Valley of Fire are all inside a day of Las Vegas, which is why most of our Southwest trips start here rather than in California.

What to do while you are here
One evening is enough for the Strip and that is not an insult. It reveals itself in about two hours of walking and then repeats. Do it, sleep, and leave in the morning.
Why Las Vegas is the perfect start
The practical case is better than the scenic one: direct international flights, cheap hotels the night before, and the densest Supercharger coverage between here and the parks.
The tip I give almost everyone: on the evening after handover, do not go back to the Strip. Drive an hour northeast to Valley of Fire. Red sandstone, nearly empty after dark, and a much better first night.
Handover & orientation
Handover takes about 30 minutes and covers the tent, Camp Mode, the Supercharger network and the route app. It happens a few minutes from the airport rather than at a terminal counter, which means you leave knowing how everything works.
