Yellowstone by Tesla
The oldest national park is also the one that needs the most charging thought, and it solves that problem in an unusual way: Yellowstone runs nine free Level 2 stations inside the park. They are slow. They are also free, and there are nine of them.

The highlights
Old Faithful goes roughly every 90 minutes and the visitor center posts the next window. Grand Prismatic is better from the Fairy Falls overlook than from the boardwalk, which most people find out afterwards. Lamar Valley at dawn is where the wildlife is.
Charging in and around the park
This is the one park where I would not improvise. The rule is simple: **enter with a full battery.** The in-park Level 2 stations top you up overnight, they do not rescue you mid-afternoon. West Yellowstone has more charging just outside the boundary.
Coming from Denver on the Rocky Mountain route, Laramie and Rock Springs Superchargers cover the approach.
Camping in Yellowstone
Grant Village is $32 a night and central, with the geysers, springs and the lake all within reach. Book early. Yellowstone campgrounds sell out faster than most people expect.
