Two-thousand-foot red walls, the Virgin River, and two of the most famous hikes in the USA: Zion is the heart of every Utah tour. By Tesla you reach the park via the St. George Supercharger — and camp right on the river.

Angels Landing & The Narrows

Angels Landing (permit required, via lottery) is the adrenaline classic; The Narrows leads you through the river itself — Utah’s most beautiful way to cool off in summer. The free park shuttle takes you from the campground stop straight to every trailhead.

Camping & charging in Zion

Watchman Campground ($30/night, book 6 months out) sits right on the Virgin River — sites 60–80 have river views, and morning fog hangs in the canyon. You charge 5 minutes away at the Springdale destination charger; the St. George Supercharger covers the approach.

Onward to Bryce Canyon

From Zion it is only 150 miles through the Mt. Carmel Tunnel to Bryce and the Escalante region — day 6 of our Grand Circle tour, with a destination charger at the Escalante RV Park.

At the Springdale destination charger, 5 minutes from the park entrance. The St. George Supercharger (about 45 minutes away) covers the approach.

Yes, since 2022 via lottery on recreation.gov (seasonal + day-before lottery). The Narrows and all other trails need no permit. Our concierge helps with the application.

The Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is closed to private vehicles March–November — the free shuttle stops right at Watchman Campground and every trailhead.

The 7-day Grand Circle Adventure: Las Vegas → Grand Canyon → Zion (days 4–5) → Escalante/Bryce → Las Vegas.

April–May and September–October: pleasant hiking temperatures and The Narrows is walkable. In midsummer start early — the canyon traps heat.
