Death Valley by Tesla
The lowest, hottest, driest place in North America — and at night one of the starriest. Death Valley is just two hours from Las Vegas and slots into any of our Southwest tours as a custom detour.

Badwater, dunes & Artist’s Palette
Badwater Basin sits 282 feet below sea level — the salt crust crunches underfoot. Add the Mesquite dunes at first light, the painted rocks of Artist’s Palette, and the Zabriskie Point view at sunrise.
Charging strategy & season
Death Valley demands planning: Superchargers in Pahrump (east) and Lone Pine (west), with in-park destination charging at Furnace Creek and Stovepipe Wells between them. The season is October to March — in summer, at 113 °F+, the park is no camping destination. Furnace Creek Campground ($22/night) is your base.
